These printers produce text or images on paper without physical strikes on paper. They do not make noise compared to other types of printers.
Typically this technology is used in Modern and Personal Home-Base. These technologies can print both monochrome and color. The following are non-Impact printers.
(a)Inkjet Printers
Inkjet printers are the most popular printers for home and small scale offices because they have good costs and good printing quality.
Ink-jet printers spray ink from small nozzles through an electronic filter, which carries charged injection particles as characters. Their speed usually is 250 characters per second. The ink is absorbed in the paper and immediately dried up. Different colors of ink can also be used.
One or more nozzles in the print head emit a steady stream of ink drops. After drop out of the droplet nozzle of Ink, electrically charged. These drill lets are guided electrically charging deflating plates on paper.
The plate is a positive charge and the other negative charge is the plate above.
An inkjet printer can print with a resolution of more than 300 dpi. Some good quality inkjet printers are able to produce copies of full colors at 600 dpi.

(b)Laser Printer
The laser printer works like a photocopy machine. Laser printer produces an image on paper by directing a laser beam on a mirror, which bounces the beam onto the drum. There is a special coating on the drum where the toner (Ink powder) sticks.
Using a pattern of small dots, to be neutralized, a laser beam converts information to the positive charge drum from the computer. Toner separates from all the regions of the drum which become neutralized.
Since the paper rolls through the drum, the toner transfers the letter to the paper to print the character or other graphics on the page. Lasers use printer buffers that store an entire page at a time. When a full page loads, it is printed.
The speed of the laser printer is high and they print silently without much noise. Many Home-Use laser printers can print up to eight pages per minute, but fast printers print about 21,000 lines per minute or print 437 pages per minute if there are 48 lines in each page.

(c) Thermal Printer
These printers are usually used in businesses or shops. Traditionally, it uses a particular type of hit sensitized paper. The heat is generated which reacts with the heat sensitive paper and transfers the image to the sheet with the help of the thermal print head. In new machines, a ribbon printer cartridge is stored with a violet material.
Hit violet melts the material and print on paper is received. These are usually not very expensive and are easy to use.
(d) LCD and LED Printer
These printers work similarly to laser printers. However, they use liquid crystal or light-emitting diode for printing. They use the geographic printing process. Many times they are also kept in the same category of laser printers. Nevertheless, they do not use laser beams like laser printers to transfer the electrostatic image to a photoreceptor.
(e) Plotters
These printers are widely known for their affixations to produce a drawing. These are mainly used for engineering drawings or architectural blueprints. However, it can also be placed in a different category of the printer, yet it is defined as most printers. The main difference in comparison to other printers is that it draws the line using a pen. These different combinations of lines differ from Products Close Space Dots by some printers. These plots are also multicolor.
(f) Multifunctional Printers
This is the last of the printer but a very important printer, which is also called All-In-One Printer. You can also classify this printer as a subcategory. Both inkjet and laser printers can be multifunctional. But due to the high demand of these printers recently, they come in a different category.
When multifunctional printers came in the first market, they were expensive. But recently, you can buy them with 10000 rupees, which is very good. Of course, cheap models are inkjet printers.
Multifunctional lasers are designed for those who require more than the printer. They can prints, scans, and faxes from one device to the two devices in the office. Because they do more to the task, their size is also bigger.
